Westwood College
Westwood College of Technology provides career training and education for high school graduates and adults who want to learn practical skills in high demand fields. The college has seventeen locations across the country, with healthcare training being offered at the school's campuses in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Southern California and Northern Virginia.

Degree and Diploma Programs and Courses of Study
Business Administration/Healthcare Management
Offered by the school's Institute of Business, the Healthcare Management bachelor's degree provides a strong foundation in business principles, and then relates these principles to the operation of a healthcare institution. Through a combination of multimedia instruction and lecture, students learn accounting, marketing, personnel management, finance, and more. Then, healthcare specific courses, including Law and Compliance in Healthcare, and Healthcare Public and Community Relations relate general business concepts to the healthcare industry. This program is offered at Westwood's campus locations, as well as online.

Medical Assisting
Learn the skills needed to start a career as a medical assistant with this hands-on program. Students gain front office skills, including setting appointments, managing patient flow, and processing insurance claims. In the school's clinical lab facilities, students also receive training in back office skills, including assisting doctors with taking vital signs, performing EKG's and phlebotomy. The program includes an externship in a medical office or clinic, and is offered as an associate degree at the Denver campuses.
