The 40 week program includes training on dental office procedures, radiology, dental materials and equipment, sterilization techniques, and other skills. In addition to classroom and laboratory training, students participate in an externship program, where they get hands-on experience in a dental office. Massage TherapyThis 30 week program provides an introduction to massage and related techniques, and prepares the student for the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Beginning with an introduction to anatomy and physiology, the program teaches soft tissue manipulation and complementary therapies. During the last portion of the program, students spend half their time practicing massage therapy techniques. The Massage Therapy diploma is offered at the Vatterott campus in St. Joseph, Missouri. Medical AssistantGet the training you need to assist physicians and other health care professionals in a medical office, hospital or clinic with one of Vatterott's Medical Assistant diploma or Associate degree programs.
