Diploma Programs and Courses of Study

Dental Assisting

The Dental Assisting diploma program at Remington college is a 32 week course of study that prepares students for entry-level positions in a dentist's office. Students learn patient-care skills that allow them to assist the dentist with both invasive and non-invasive procedures. The program includes an internship at a dentist's office, and is offered at the Cleveland-West, Tampa, Nashville and Fort Worth campuses.

Massage Therapy

The ancient practice of massage therapy has become a vital part of modern medical treatment. Remington College's diploma program in Massage Therapy combines textbook learning with clinical practice, and prepares graduates for entry-level positions as massage therapists. At the end of the 32 week course, students participate in an internship. The program is offered at the Honolulu campus.

Medical Assisting

Graduates of Remington's Medical Assisting diploma program are prepared to take on roles in a medical office including medical assistant, medical receptionist, insurance biller, or clinical assistant. Exact coursework and program details vary slightly depending on the campus you attend. The diploma program is offered at every campus, Honolulu offers an Associate degree in Clinical Medical Assisting.

Medical Billing and Coding

Develop the skills needed to process health insurance claims with this 8 month diploma program in Medical Insurance in Coding. In the internship portion of the program, students get a chance to practice their coding skills in a medical billing environment. The program is offered at the every location except for Tampa and Honolulu. in Colorado Springs and Nashville, the program is Medical Insurance and Coding.

Pharmacy Technician

In the Pharmacy Technician diploma program, students learn to assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions in either a retail or hospital setting. The program includes both classroom and lab training. Students practice their skills in an internship. The program is offered at all locations except Columbia, Honolulu, Houston-Southeast, Nashville, Shreveport and Tampa.
