Degree Programs and Courses of StudyMedical AssistingGain the skills needed to become a medical assistant with the 14 month Associate degree program in Medical Assisting. Students learn how to become part of the team assisting doctors and other health professionals in hospitals, physician's offices, and clinics. The medical assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education programs (CAAHEP), on recommendation of the Curriculum Review Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants' Endowment (AAMAE).
