Jones International University
Jones International University was founded in 1995 to deliver the college educational experience over the Internet. It serves a worldwide student body in its distance learning programs over the Internet. The faculty is drawn from prestigious universities around the world.
Each course at JIU lasts eight weeks. Most students take a single course at a time. Each week during the course, there are study assignments and activities to complete. A faculty member monitors each course, and facilitates student discussions and assignments. Communication is through e-mail and web based discussion groups. Typical time required to complete an online MBA is two and a half years.

Bachelor of Business Administration in Health Care Management
Designed for individuals in the healthcare field who have completed an associate degree or certificate, the bachelor degree program can help the student move towards a supervisory or management position. Courses provide a strong background in business administration, including accounting, management and marketing. Courses in the major focus on the specific management needs of the healthcare industry.
Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management
The online MBA in Health Care Management consists of fourteen eight week courses. Half the courses are core courses, including managerial accounting, economics, and information technology management. Students take four courses specifically devoted to health care management, including Marketing Health Services, Telemedicine, Managing the Health Care Professional, and Emerging Strategies in Health Care. Two elective courses and a capstone project round out the program.

Admissions and Financial Aid
Applicants at JIU must have completed their bachelor degree, and may be able to transfer graduate credits earned at other schools.
