Learn the skills required for medical records information management with this 7 month program that teaches students the ICD-9 and CPT-4 surgical and non-surgical coding systems used to process insurance claims and for medical recordkeeping. In addition to medical billing and insurance training, students are exposed to medical terminology, computers and the MS Office suite, and medical law and ethics. Classes are offered in the mornings, afternoon, and evenings, and the program includes an internship.
