Herzing UniversityHerzing University began as a computer programming school in Minneapolis in 1965. Since that time, it has grown to encompass eleven campuses in the United States and Canada. It has also added to its program offerings, which now include business, design, and healthcare training. The school's mission is to provide a high quality education that meets the career needs of graduates and employers alike, while including general education elements that broaden the student's ability to communicate and analyze problems. Degree Programs and Courses of StudyDental AssistingHerzing's Dental Assisting program is offered as a diploma or an Associate of Applied Science degree program. Students receive training in chairside assisting, radiology, dental materials, and dental science. The program includes an internship, and is only offered at the Minneapolis campus.
