Sierra couldn't be happier now, but she definitely needed some time to find her niche. After reluctantly going to a junior college just outside of her hometown of Santa Monica, she met a professor of natural health and naturopathy at a yoga class. This meeting helped her find her true calling.

"This guy was really cool. He knew a lot about yoga, and I asked him when he started practicing. Apparently, apart from being a professor of natural health, he was also a yoga instructor. He asked me about myself, and I told him that I felt a little clueless about what I wanted to do with my life. All I really knew was that I loved leading a healthy lifestyle, and that exercise and good nutrition really interested me.

He told me to come to one of his classes to see if I'd be interested in the field of natural health. The class was amazing. He talked about the benefits of antioxidants, and where they could be found in large quantities naturally. After attending this class, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life.

I'm now enrolled in a natural health and naturopathy school full-time and am amazed at what I learn each day. I'm currently taking a class in herbal medicine which is linked to ancient remedies used by the Chinese. I'm also taking a class on nutrition that exposes the benefits and drawbacks to a number of current fad diets. What I'm learning is helping me become a healthier person in both mind and spirit. Eventually, I hope that I'll be able to help others become healthier by sharing this knowledge with them.
